Kalita’s very first product created in collaboration with “Made in Tsubame”, a brand and engraved mark that is given only to products that pass the conditions set by the Tsubame Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This new dripper is completely handmade by the qualified craftsmen of Tsubame-shi, a well-known district in Niigata prefecture for its metalworking craftsmen and their techniques.
Produced with Kalita’s traditional three-hole structure with a flat bottom designed to extract evenly, allowing to accommodate all brewers. Together with the wave filters, anyone can brew with a consistent flavor each and every time.

Lovely little dripper with a high quality finish. Quite fond of how the wave filter can doesn't stick to the dripper, so you can just tip it out using the handle after brewing into a bin.
This is my 3rd Kalita and my first 155, the other 2 are 185. All of them bought from Kurasu and very awesome. It makes more consistent brews compared to my 185 since it just small water to coffee is ratio is better with 155.
Great dripper. The craftsmanship alone makes it worth it. Brews very good coffee. This company has very fast shipping to the US and fantastic customer service!
Such a quality piece, and fun to brew with. I was deciding between the Tsubame or another Glass Kalita to purchase after I broke my Glass Kalita Wave 155 but decided to spend more on the Tsubame as it is sturdier. Other than the slightly slower pour time compared to the Glass version, the Tsubame still produces great cups of coffee for me. Lastly, it's such a beautiful piece of equipment aesthetically that it has become my go-to brewer over my other equipment.
